Why Civil is Fun exists
With over 10 years of hands-on experience in roads and transportation engineering, I’ve worked on some of the most demanding infrastructure projects in the region — including mega projects financed by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). These are large-scale, high-standard projects where precision, documentation, and technical knowledge are non-negotiable.
Those experiences taught me far more than any textbook ever could. But I also noticed a gap — fresh graduates and young engineers arriving on site often struggled with concepts that seemed simple in theory but were complex in practice. They searched for hours for a clear, reliable answer and came up empty.
That’s exactly why I started Civil is Fun. Not as an academic resource full of jargon, but as a practical companion — the kind of guide I wish I had when I was starting out.
